About

It almost seemed like destiny. After completing his master's degree from Stanford University, Dr. Luo went to medical school at University of Wisconsin. The son of two physicians, a general surgeon and an internist, Dr. Luo was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After he finished medical school, Dr. Luo trained in one of the top internal medicine residency programs in the country - Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Rush Presbyterian has recently been ranked the most prestigious medical facility in the USA by AARP magazine (above Harvard and Mayo Clinic). Dr. Luo has been in practice over ten years, specializing in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases in adult patients.

As an internist, Dr. Luo uses more than just traditional medical techniques. As destiny would have it, while Dr. Luo's parents were both Chinese physicians, they practiced and taught traditional Chinese medicine techniques, including the use of herbs and acupuncture. Growing up in this unique environment, Dr. Luo learned to utilize the best of both schools of medicine. His unique, integrated approach can relieve the symptoms of many diseases that are not completely understood and do not always respond to traditional treatments. For this reason, Dr. Luo takes the time to explain to his patients all of their treatment options. Dr. Luo is taking new patients and offering same day appointments.
